PRESS RELEASE

Knowit signs agreement with Swedish government agency for secure e-signature service

NON REGULATORY

Knowit has signed an agreement with another Swedish government agency for the delivery of Signport – a highly secure e-signature service. The agency has long been involved in quality assurance and setting standards for, among other things, e-signatures, and provides recommendations to the public sector for defining requirements for suppliers of related services.

The new agreement provides access to both a support service and a signature portal, with the possibility of integrating business systems directly with the service.
The Signport service has been developed in accordance with the agency’s framework, which dictates the requirements and standards for Sweden’s public sector.

“It feels like things have come full circle now that we have the opportunity to deliver Signport to the very agency that has been so instrumental in defining the requirements for the product’s development. Our solution enables organizations to streamline and secure their digital signing processes,” says Mikael Monié, Business Manager for Signport at Knowit.

In addition to the agency’s quality requirements, Knowit, as a major supplier to the public sector, has over the years, based on customer requests, also developed add-ons such as a visual signature page, graphic customization, validation functionality, and Quicksign. This provides a flexible and future-proof solution for digital signatures, tailored to meet the high demands of the public sector.

The implementation of Signport is planned for October 2025.
