BEWI RAW

BEWI RAW’s new website launched at record speed using an AI-native approach

RETAIL & SERVICES

What happens when AI becomes an integrated part of the entire workflow? In the project with BEWI RAW, a supplier of raw materials for industrial and packaging solutions, we had the opportunity to test exactly that. A new website was launched while also generating new insights into how digital development can be carried out.

CHALLENGE

A new brand and an opportunity to start from scratch

BEWI RAW, which produces raw materials based on expandable polymers (including EPS) for industrial and packaging solutions, had until recently been part of BEWI Group. The company was now set to stand on its own –without an existing website, without existing content, and without anything to build upon.

The brand, website, and content all needed to be developed from the ground up, aligned as a cohesive whole, and ready for launch within a tight timeframe.

The ambition was also to do this in a new way: with AI as an integrated part of the entire process – from design to code and content – while maintaining the same high standards for quality and performance alongside the demand for rapid delivery.

SOLUTION

AI as part of the team

The project was run in an AI-native way, with AI tools integrated throughout the entire workflow. Design was created and iterated in Figma Make, code was produced with support from GitHub Copilot agents, and content was developed in parallel with the rest of the solution.

What tied the approach together was the structure surrounding the technology. Guidelines, prompt libraries, and shared ways of working acted as a framework for the entire team – ensuring consistent quality regardless of who, or what, produced the output.

The work was carried out by a small, focused team in close collaboration with the client. Decisions were made continuously, and feedback loops were short, making it possible to maintain a high pace without losing direction.

At the same time, AI agents handled large parts of the repetitive work, such as code generation and backlog management. This freed up time for more value-creating activities, such as content, structure, and user experience.

RESULT

Fast time to market and high performance as outcomes

The final website demonstrates that an AI-native approach can deliver high technical quality. With scores of 100 out of 100 in performance, accessibility, SEO, and best practices, a security rating of A, and a climate impact of 0.24 g CO₂ per page view, the figures* speak for themselves.

The project showed that it is possible to combine rapid delivery with high quality – provided that the right structure and direction are in place. Technology enables speed, but how it is used determines the outcome.

It was impressive to see how much we could achieve in a short time without compromising on quality. Knowit is forward-thinking, works in a structured way, and demonstrated that it is possible to combine speed with high quality. For me, it also became clear that AI, when used correctly, will impact how we work with digital development going forward.
