The Swedish Armed Forces chooses Knowit for upgrading systems for the Swedish Navy
Knowit has received an order for an upgrade of the command & control system previously delivered by Knowit in 2018. The upgrade encompasses increased functionality, FMN (Federated Mission Networking), and IT security solutions. The upgrade will also increase the possibilities for collaboration with Finland and NATO. The total value of the order (including options) is around SEK 70 million.
Knowit has been collaborating with the Swedish Armed Forces, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, and the defense industry for almost 30 years and has built up high competence and strong understanding of the specific requirements placed on development of new products and services in the defense sector.

The upgrade of the previously delivered systems will be performed in collaboration with Knowit’s Finnish partner Navielektro, which delivers the subsystem MATIS.
