PRESS RELEASE

The Swedish National Veterinary Institute launches e-commerce site

NON REGULATORY

The Swedish National Veterinary Institute (SVA) has launched an entirely new website. The site is aimed at veterinaries and animal owners who want to learn more about animal health or order analyses and products from SVA. Over the past year, the authority has collaborated with Knowit Experience to work out a new approach to its digital services.

The expert authority SVA is part of Swedish contingency planning and has during the current covid-19 epidemic prioritized analyses of human samples, using its resources where they are most needed in society.

“SVA wants to increase the accessibility and competitiveness of our digital services and offer a website that is relevant to our prioritized target groups, veterinaries and animal owners. We also want to share the broad competence we have in many areas. It is our ambition that the new site will be seen as a large improvement for our visitors, while also streamlining how we manage digital orders,” says Elnaz Alizadeh, Head of Communications at SVA.

Knowit Experience has conceptualized, designed, and developed the external website and e-commerce solution of SVA.

“This assignment exemplifies that it is the customer experience that places demands on technology, not the other way around. Based on understanding of SVA’s target groups and their needs, we have devised an entirely new way of visualizing content and making it accessible. Of course, the e-commerce site is a way to satisfy the expectations of the target groups, but also helps meet the increased demands on the authority,” says Rebecca Björkman, client manager at Knowit Experience.

Knowit Experience is one of the largest digital agencies in the Nordic area and currently has more than 600 specialists in web, data analytics, e-commerce, design, and communication. Knowit Experience is at the intersection between humans and technology, working with solutions to develop and reinforce the interaction with the client’s customer.
