PRESS RELEASE

New CFO and EVP join Knowit’s corporate management team

REGULATORY

Knowit has appointed Marie Björklund as new CFO of Knowit. She will be taking up her new duties during August and will be part of the corporate management team. Marie has most recently been working at the e-commerce company Lyko. Tommy Berg will become the new EVP for Knowit Insight and will also join the corporate management team. Tommy already has a role in Knowit Insight’s management team and will take up his new duties on March 1.

Marie has wide experience of finance-related roles in several industries, most recently for the retail chain Kicks, and previously from the HVAC wholesaler Dahls. She also has a background as an accountant at Deloitte.

”We are very pleased that Marie has chosen to take on the role as CFO here at Knowit. With her wide experience and competence in economy and finance from multiple industries, she will be able to contribute to a continued positive development for Knowit,” says President Per Wallentin.

”I am really looking forward to contributing with my competence and experiences in an industry that is new to me. Knowit has had a fantastic journey, as regards both its offerings and its financial development over the past few years. The team I will be joining has great experience and expertise, which means that I can work forward with the financial aspects as well as the company as a whole. It feels incredibly exciting to be part of Knowit’s journey ahead,” says Marie Björklund.

Tommy has been employed at Knowit since 2014 and took part in establishing the company Knowit IT Strategy. He has an M.Sc. from Chalmers and Executive MBA from Gothenburg Business School and has previously worked at Accenture.

”I look forward to welcoming Tommy Berg to Knowit’s corporate management team. I have gotten to know Tommy well during his time at Knowit and am impressed by both his strategic range and his ability to build profitable operations. I also have strong confidence in Tommy’s leadership and look forward to working even more closely with him,” says Knowit’s President Per Wallentin.

The current EVP for the business field Insight, Tomas Sandén, will remain at Knowit and support several corporate-wide strategic projects.

Elisabet Jarnbring, who is already working as interim CFO, will continue in that role until Marie takes up her duties.

Knowit’s year-end report for 2018 will be made public on February 8.
