Proposed Board and Chairman
Published 12 Feb 2018The Nomination Committee proposes that the AGM on 26 April 2018 re-elect the Board Members Camilla Monefeldt Kirstein, Mats Olsson and Jon Risfelt, and elect Gunilla Asker, Stefan Gardefjord, Kia Orback Pettersson and Peder Ramel.
Carl-Olof By and Eva Elmstedt have declined re-election. Liselotte Hägertz Engstam has previously announced her resignation, effective March 1. Mats Olsson is proposed as Chairman of the Board.
Gunilla Asker is after nine years leaving the post as CEO of Svenska Dagbladet. Before that, she was the marketing and sales director at Svenska Dagbladet for three years. Gunilla’s previous experience includes 13 years’ experience from Unilever, of which eight years were in senior positions. She already serves as a Board Member of the Danish insurance company Codan, Göta Kanalbolaget, Lendo, Compricer and Kundkraft.
Stefan Gardefjord is CEO of SSC (formerly Rymdbolaget) and was CEO of Logica, Sweden (former WM-Data) between 2006 and 2012, at which company he had held various positions since the 1980s. Stefan is a Board Member of BTS Group.
Kia Orback Pettersson is Chairman of the Boards of Teracom, Mediaplanet and S:t Eriks vårdbolag, and a Board Member of JM, Kungsleden, Odd Molly, Visual Art etc. She has formerly held positions as, i.a., CEO of Hemtex, CEO of Sturegallerian and marketing director at Dagens Nyheter.
Peder Ramel is CEO of Hi3G Holding, where he has been part of the executive group since 2006. Between 2002 and 2006, Peder was CEO of Bredbandsbolaget and before that he held various positions within the Kinnevik Group.

The Nomination Committee has placed emphasis on the matter of an even gender distribution within the Board. If the AGM adopts the Nomination Committee’s proposal, the Board of Knowit will consist of three women and four men.
All the proposed Board Members are independent in relation to the company, its management and its major shareholders. All the proposed Board Members have experience of the requirements of serving on the Board of a company listed on the stock market.
