The challenge
DNB approached us with an extremely exciting project looking for help in developing a user-friendly app that makes it possible to send money between friends. The app needed to be fun and easy to use.
Vipps – Pay your friends via mobile phone
Knowit has provided the design solution and user experience for Vipps, DNB’s new app for payment between friends.
The solution
Knowit’s role in the project has been to ensure a good experience for users, build prototypes and design solutions, as well as to provide advice on standard practice for mobile platforms. The Knowit team has also supplied design specifications and graphic elements for all supported platforms.
The result
With the Vipps app, Knowit and DNB have built a service enabling anyone with a Norwegian bank card to split restaurant bills, expenditure or payments between friends and acquaintances. We have succeeded in creating a modern and extremely useful service that everyone can benefit from. In addition to being user friendly, it was important to ensure a feeling of security. After all, the app is all about sending money by mobile phone.
