Per Wallentin on the cybersecurity market

Knowit's CEO is interviewed in ComputerSweden regarding the growing security market and mentions AI and the connection between security and law as two growth areas.

Enligt IDC beräknas den svenska marknaden för säkerhetsrelaterade tjänster växa med 10,2 procent i år jämfört med 2017, som i sig var ett rekordår med 9,8 procents tillväxt. För Norden är den väntade tillväxten i år något högre, 10,3 procent.

- Det finns mycket att göra och ganska ont om folk. Knowit Secure har vuxit till 55 personer, säger Per.

- We have established a new subsidiary, Digital Law, which works with legal services, so we now have both legal and technical expertise. And it's not primarily technology that is at the heart of digitization, but people. One concrete example of the connection between technology and people is AI. There are a lot of possibilities in the field of AI and it can be very powerful in altering ojobbar med juridiska tjänster, så idag har vi både juridisk kompetens och teknisk kompetens. Det är egentligen inte tekniken som är i centrum kopplat till digitaliseringen, utan det är människorna. Ett konkret exempel på kopplingen teknik och människa är AI. Just AI har så mycket möjligheter och är extremt kraftfullt i förändringen av gamla affärsmodeller.
