Knowit to change Chairman at next AGM

Mats has been Chairman of Knowit since 2000 and during these 19 years the company has grown dramatically, from a small listed company with a few hundred employees to a company on the MidCap list with about 2,400 employees and a stock market value of almost SEK 4 billion.

“It has been a fantastic, positive and exciting journey. Knowit is now a corporation with a very well-balanced corporate management team and business areas that collaborate well and have great prospects for the future,” says Mats Olsson.

Knowit’s Nomination Committee will suggest Jon Risfelt as the new Chairman of the Board at the AGM in April. Jon has been a Board Member at Knowit since 2013 and has board experience from several different industries.

“After receiving notice that Mats is now choosing to leave his position, after a long and successful term as Chairman, the Nomination Committee has come to the conclusion that Jon, who is well familiar with the company and Knowit’s corporate culture, is a suitable replacement,” says Lennart Francke, Chairman of the Nomination Committee.

The Nomination committee will suggest re-election of all other Board Members and that the number of Board Members decreased from seven to six.
