Through a long-term partnership, our business area Knowit Connectivity in Poland has helped Pluxee create a secure, scalable and user-friendly platform for managing prepaid employee benefits and sales support tools. The solution is now used by about 1 million people and consistently receives top ratings and strong customer satisfaction.

BACKGROUND

Pluxee is a global provider of employee benefit solutions and sales support tools
– offering prepaid gift, incentive and lunch card programs. In Poland, the service is delivered through a prepaid payment card paired with a mobile and web application that enables users to manage their cards in everyday life.

Knowit has been Pluxee’s technology partner since 2019, responsible for the design, development and continuous enhancement of their digital card management application.


CHALLENGE

The need for a secure and scalable customer platform

Pluxee required a modern platform that allowed users to independently manage their cards and security settings, while reducing reliance on manual and fragmented support channels. The solution also needed to scale with a rapidly growing user base and comply with strict requirements for payments, banking integrations and regulatory security. At the same time, the platform had to deliver a seamless and competitive customer experience in a market with increasingly high expectations for digital services.


SOLUTION

A cloud-based, user-centric and secure card management platform

Knowit developed a modern solution built on Microsoft Azure, combining mobile and web applications to deliver a coherent and reliable user experience.

The platform provides real-time access to balance and transaction history and allows users to manage key security features, such as PIN changes and card blocking. It supports digital wallets including Google Pay, Apple Pay and Mastercard, as well as contactless payments for smooth everyday use.

To further increase usability, the solution includes a map view for locating nearby acceptance points and relevant offers. Secure integrations with banks and payment providers ensure stable and compliant transaction handling. A structured delivery and service model safeguards high availability and consistent data quality across all channels.

The partnership now continues with a focus on next-generation customer interactions powered by large language models (LLMs), enabling more natural, conversational support and enhanced self-service capabilities.


RESULT

High ratings, 1 million users and a strengthened partnership

The platform has seen strong market adoption, with more 1 million registered users and high ratings on both Google Play and the Apple App Store. Extensive self-service capabilities allow users to manage their cards independently, significantly reducing the need for manual customer support.

Customer satisfaction remains exceptionally high. Pluxee consistently awards Knowit top scores for delivery quality, collaboration and innovation, and considers Knowit a proactive strategic partner in their digital development.
