“The biggest risk is that people stop trusting each other and the things we share. If that trust disappears, it affects the whole of society.”

Four insights from the report

The strategy is there. The confidence isn't.

Most organizations have plans and policies in place. But having the paperwork in order is a different matter from actually acting once a crisis hits. The report gives a clear picture of how well-prepared Swedish organizations really are.

The supply chain is a blind spot

One in three private-sector organizations lacks full visibility into how resilient their suppliers really are – a systemic risk that rarely shows itself until something actually goes wrong.

It's just as much about people as it is about technology

Organizations that give competence and culture the same priority as their security systems have a clear edge. Security awareness that runs through the whole organization matters more than what sits with the IT department alone.

AI is reshaping the risk landscape – but few have caught up

Six in ten organizations are currently developing AI policies, which means four in ten still don't have one — even as AI is already changing how fast threats can evolve and spread. Organizations that manage to combine the pace of innovation with strong security practices will gain an edge that's hard for others to close.

This is how Swedish organizations stand when facing a digital crisis

Nearly half of Swedish companies doubt their ability to handle a digital crisis. In this report, we've looked at how well Swedish organizations are actually prepared when it comes to strategy, supply chains, and a growing AI risk landscape.

How we work on digital resilience with our clients:

“Many organizations still think of security as something you build once and finish. But threats and technology keep changing. Resilience has to become an ongoing process.”
