The Riksbank signs new contract with Knowit

Published 16 May 2017

The contract covers further development and application management of an operation-critical system. The collaboration extends over four years with an option for extension of another two years. The total value of the contract is estimated to around SEK 23 million.

Knowit has been collaborating with the Riksbank for several years, to develop a better, more modern system (DORIS) supporting the policy work of the Riksbank and has been given renewed confidence to continue this work. The system supports the entire work process, from collection of data for further analysis to publication of finalized graphs in the public documents and on the website of the Swedish Riksbank. One of the most important usages of the system is in creating the bases for determining and forecasting the prime rate.

- We are very proud and gratified that the Swedish Riksbank has found that Knowit best meets its requirements as regards application management and further development of DORIS. Being allowed to continue working with one of the most central parts of the Swedish economy along with the Swedish Riksbank is very interesting and proof that we can deliver with the high quality required by their operations, says Henrik Serlow, business manager at Knowit.
