Lindorff chooses Knowit for new cloud project

Published 26 Oct 2017 Lindorff chooses Knowit for new cloud project

Lindorff chooses Knowit and its partners Snowflake and WhereScape for an important pilot project.

Knowit has a strong offering in cloud services and broad competence in both cloud services and data warehousing. In the project with Lindorff, migration will be automated using tools from WhereScape, with a cloud-based service provided by Snowflake, which currently offers one of the best cloud-based datawarehouse solutions on the market.

- We have chosen Knowit as our supplier as it is of utmost importance to work with a partner that has competence and experience of both cloud services and larger, more complex migrations, as well as system support. This was made clear in our joint and successful PoC (Proof of Concept) ahead of this pilot project. Lindorff is therefore now choosing to move forward with a longer, full-scope pilot together, says Mikael Kiltorp at Lindorff.

- We are proud to have been given this confidence and are now focused on showing the value of a modern DW solution that meets all the high demands made in the migration project. Knowit’s consultants are experienced with working in agile migration projects and we are entering into this project with a very high level of ambition, says Thomas Nord, CEO Knowit Decision within the business field Knowit Solutions.

The migration project for Lindorff is also the start of an exciting partnership between Knowit and Snowflake.
