Knowit ventures into e-commercePublished 07 Sep 2012
Knowit is strengthening its e-commerce offering by founding a new company in Göteborg. The new company broadens Knowit’s existing operations by adding strategic and practical competence in logistics and online business development for e-commerce companies. The ambition for the first phase is to expand to ten consultants in the field. Fredrik Goldbeck-Löwe, former CEO at Schenker Privpak for ten years and business development manager for Schenker’s e-commerce clients in the Nordic region, will be CEO of the new company.
– We have during many years been delivering solutions to clients in e-commerce and are now reinforcing this growth area by bringing in new competence beyond our traditional fields in IT. We will now become an even better advisor to management teams and boards as regards strategic e-commerce. Through our own competence and a new, broad network in logistics, we can now help our e-commerce clients even more, says Per Wallentin, President of Knowit.
– We have gotten very positive feedback from those of our contacts in e-commerce to whom we’ve presented our new, very focused client-benefit offering, says Per Svanström, digital strategist and business developer.
Per Svanström will be head of marketing in the new company and has experience as a strategic advisor for some of the world’s leading companies in e-commerce and social media.
Knowit already has a number of specialist companies working with the web and intranets. The companies will be collaborating closely on joint assignments.
