Knowit’s specialist company in advertising and design in Norway, NeoLab by Knowit, is acquiring Metronet AS. The acquisition means that NeoLab by Knowit will become one of Norway’s largest communication agencies, with 107 employees.
– Metronet is one of Norway’s largest digital communication agencies. The company offers services in creative communication, customer experiences and performance marketing. Through the acquisition, NeoLab by Knowit will become the leading communication agency in Norway, offering cutting-edge expertise in strategy, creativity, analysis and technology for the modern ad purchasers, says Henrik Lie-Nielsen, head of Knowit in Norway.
Sales are becoming increasingly digital and this creates the opportunity to create added value before, during and after the purchase for the retailer. Based on knowledge of the digital environment, analysis and communication and sales goals, the process can be optimized and documented throughout the chain.
- We see an increased demand for analyses, evaluation of effects and documentation of practically all marketing activities. Our clients expect us to offer them competence and services throughout the chain. We are now almost unique in having the ability to offer them this, says Henrik Lie-Nielsen.
Metronet, with offices in Oslo, supplements Knowit with both competence and a client base. The acquisition is carried out as a merger between a Knowit company and Metronet. Knowit’s share after the merger will be 53 percent.
