PRESS RELEASE

Knowit establishes new offer in next generation business systems on the Norwegian market

NON REGULATORY

Knowit is strengthening its offer in management consulting with new services in digital work processes and cloud-based ERP solutions. The new operations will be an important addition to Knowit, supplementing existing services. The operations will initially be based in Oslo in the business area Knowit Insight.

The demand for consultancy and implementation of modern, cloud-based business systems is increasing. This is the reason that Knowit is establishing new operations together with a dedicated team of experienced specialists.

Knowit Insight is a business area within Knowit with around 400 management consultants in the Nordic region, helping companies and organizations to develop and succeed in the digital transformation. Through intelligent use of technology and business strategies, Knowit Insight prepares clients for a sustainable future and helps them understand and navigate in the challenges of tomorrow.

“One megatrend that is gaining ground in our workplaces is automation. It is happening in offices, as well as in production and logistics. The pandemic has speeded up this development even further and a large share of existing jobs will either disappear or change shape. Knowit is helping its clients navigate in this and will, with these new colleagues, develop services and deliveries in next generation cloud-based ERP and business systems. I am also thrilled that we have such a highly experienced manager onboard to spearhead this work,” says Christian Hartmann, Head of Knowit Insight in Norway.

The new team will be headed by Tom Hauge, who has a background that includes working as a manager at Apple and CGI in Norway. Tom also has long experience as a business consultant and start-up leader, and will establish these operations during the spring, in collaboration with a team of experienced consultants, primarily in Dynamics 365 and Microsoft.

“It feels really exciting to get a chance to become part of Knowit, with a competent and committed team of consultants and specialists. I see a lot of potential in being able to widen Knowit’s existing offer with a strong addition and competence in cloud-based business systems. We will become a tight, fleet-footed organization, and will be able to support and guide clients to more efficient and profitable business processes,” says Tom Hauge, business manager of the new offer.

“Knowit’s decentralized corporate culture and clear vision of contributing to a sustainable and humane society is attractive to both employees and clients, and I truly look forward to being part of Knowit’s continued growth journey,” he adds.
