Knowit has been awarded Kammarkollegiet’s procurement regarding a project to create sample call-offs. The project start is planned for October 1 2014 and will be concluded in the fall of 2015, with an option for additional call-off until the last of August 2016.

The services will mainly be delivered from Knowit Norrland, by experts from Sundsvall, Örnsköldsvik, Umeå and Luleå. Depending on the extent of the projects, support may also be gathered from other units within Knowit.

The goal of the assignment is to provide support and guidance to call-off entitled parties in call-offs from Kammarkollegiet’s framework agreement. The sample call-offs may entail anything from an authority performing a call-off on development of a specific app, or a call-off on a project tool to handle time plans, share documents, including document handling, or a call-off regarding a unique logging solution.

Several experts will be involved in the assignment, to ensure a high technical level. This is a highly prestigious assignment awarded to us, showing that our consultants are in the highest league, says Håkan Häggblad, manager of the project at Knowit.

Kammarkollegiet is a governmental administrative authority, under the Swedish government and the Ministry of Finance. The authority has around 250 employees. Kammarkollegiet has over thirty different tasks, for example procuring framework agreements within IT and telecommunications for government authorities, municipalities and county councils, in order to create the best possible conditions for purchasing and use of IT. Kammarkollegiet is also tasked with developing and administering procurement support and driving development of an electronic procurement platform, as well as participating in standardization work in the field.
