Ejendals’ website was chosen as the best B2B site at the EPiServer Awards. Knowit has, together with Ejendals, developed the site. The website is an important channel for Ejendals, a company marketing protective shoes and gloves, to reach new markets in Europe and support the company’s growth strategy.
The jury’s statement was: ”The winner of Best website B2B is a modern site that is truly inspirational thanks to its products and well thought-out design. Using the product search function, you can filter products and tailor your order in a simple, user-friendly way. The site works just as well on smartphones or tablets and the unified, attractive imagery makes you want to explore further. A good-looking site that incites both an urge to buy and loyalty.”
The site is still under development and one important aspect from a B2B perspective will be the partner login function, enabling Ejendal’s clients to make orders online.
– We can see that our ambitions in developing the site have been realized and are now being rewarded. I can’t imagine a better testimonial. Together with Ejendals, we have developed a website with responsive design, which means it is accessible in all types of units – computers, tablets, smartphones, regardless of model and type, says Thomas Engström, client manager at Knowit.
The new website has a clear structure and navigation, language support, clear presentation of Ejendals’ product range. A streamlined partner login function for placing orders is under development.
Ejendals was founded in 1949 by Valfrid Ejendal in Leksand, Sweden. In the early 1980s, collaboration was begun with Urho Viljanmaa OY, which in 2008 was acquired by Ejendals. Today, Ejendals has a turnover of more than a billion Swedish kronor. The company has grown rapidly in the past years and has sales personnel and companies throughout Europe.
